CavFab HD High Clearance Crossover Steering Kit
A heavy-duty crossover steering upgrade for Jeep XJ, MJ, ZJ, TJ, and LJ platforms using Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axles. Built around solid 1.5" 1045 steel tie rod and drag link bars, CNC-machined in-house with heat-treated chromoly heim joints and Grade 8 hardware.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Both knuckles and the pitman arm must be drilled to 5/8". The system can be run under-the-knuckle or over-the-knuckle after drilling.

MATERIAL ADVANTAGE
CavFab uses solid 1045 steel bars rather than thin-wall DOM tubing. The 1045 material provides substantially higher yield and tensile strength than common 1018/1020 DOM steering bars, giving the system more resistance to permanent bending under trail impacts.

- Right- and left-hand jam nuts
- Four misalignment spacers
- Grade 8 mounting hardware
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Stock wheels will not fit without wheel spacers.
- Switching this system to tie rod ends is not compatible because there are no 3/4-16 TREs for this configuration.
- WJ knuckle-swap applications require different tie rod and drag link dimensions; use the dedicated WJ knuckle-swap kit.
