PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The CavFab High Clearance Flares for TJ / LJ models deliver unmatched tire clearance, allowing you to run larger tires with a smaller lift. Designed as a full fender replacement—not just a bolt-on flare—these fenders provide maximum durability and off-road performance while enhancing your Jeep’s capability and style.
Jeepers commonly call this style "Highline" or "Hi-Line" fenders, we call it Hi Clearance, same part. The 2" width sits between the 0" (Negative Flare) and 4" options, giving you extra tire clearance without the widest stance.

They're the same product. We call it a Hi Clearance fender, while many Jeep owners refer to the design as Highline or Hi-Line. Regardless of the name, this is a complete front fender replacement, not a flare that attaches to the factory fender.
This product replaces the entire factory front fender. The original fender is removed and this panel is installed in its place.
Installation requires cutting the hood, removing the factory inner fender, and relocating the battery. All Hi Clearance fender setups require hood modification, and there is no version available that avoids this step.
Yes. The inner fender and battery relocation bracket are sold separately because some customers use custom solutions instead of the factory components. Compatible options are listed in the NOTES section of the product page.
Flare width determines how much tire coverage the fender provides. The 0" option, sometimes called the Negative Flare, offers the narrowest and most tucked-in appearance. The 4" flare provides the greatest tire coverage, while the 2" flare offers a balanced middle ground between the two. This product features the 2" flare option.
