The factory JK tie rod isn’t built for larger tires or off-road abuse. The CavFab HD Steel Tie Rod is a direct bolt-on replacement made from 1.5" solid 1045 alloy steel—no drilling or reaming required. Equipped with oversized 1-ton greaseable tie rod ends, it delivers tight, responsive steering on-road and unmatched durability off-road. Built to handle the toughest terrain, this tie rod eliminates weak points in your factory steering and is backed by the CavFab NO BS Warranty.

NOTES
- Take care to not over grease the tie rods ends, over greasing the ends will cause tearing and damage the boot. Torn boots are not a warranty item.
- We recommend this kit be installed with aftermarket wheels, the factory 17" JK wheels to not have a sufficient backspacing to allow for the larger rod ends to clear. A wheel with 4.75" Backspacing or Numerically less. If you run factory wheels with a 1" or larger wheel spacer this will suffice also.
- We also offer the tie rod in 7075 aluminum
