CavFab Elite Series Body-Mounted Spare Tire Carrier - Jeep TJ / LJ

A body-mounted spare tire carrier built for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ models. Constructed from laser-cut 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" American steel, the Elite Series is engineered to support up to a 42" spare tire with an adjustable tire position and additional cage tie-in for increased support.

IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: This carrier will not fit with the factory taillight position. Taillight modification or aftermarket lighting is required.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES

Factory taillight placement interferes with this carrier. Modifications or aftermarket taillights are required.
Some TJ/LJ models have weld-in nuts at the upper hinge. These may need to be removed to use the included tie-in.
If you have a non-stock cage, the tie-in should fit only if the cage remains in approximately the factory position. A cage positioned farther from the tailgate may prevent the tie-in from fitting.
For tires larger than 37", CavFab recommends using rear corner armor for additional support.
