The Factory Drag Link on the JK is simply not up to the task of holding up to larger tires. The drag link sees alot of force turning large tires on and offroad..causing it to be susceptible to buckling or bending. Also, being that the drag link is the connector between your steering gear box and axle, a failure will leave you stranded on the trail. Finally, the factory tie rod ends on the JK will wear pre-maturely leading to poor steering and even Death Wobble. Our HD Drag Link System replaces the entire drag link with a heavy duty system designed and manufactured here in house. We use SOLID 1.5" 1045 Alloy Steel which is exponentially stronger than the factory material used. Our HD Drag Link System is able to take the force of turning large tires on the street or trail without the fear of bending. Our 1 Ton Tie Rod Ends are much larger than the factory tie rod ends, and are directly greasable (via a zerk fitting). These will provide the most quiet and factory like steering characteristics. *We recommend this kit be installed with aftermarket wheels, the factory 17" JK wheels to not have a sufficient backspacing to allow for the larger rod ends to clear. A wheel with 4.75" Backspacing or Numerically less.
